SuRealistas

In their veins run Argentina and Sicily, Pisa and Livorno…And even a pinch of Bosnia.
Their hearts beat to the rhythm of Afro-American claves, between cumbia and son, MPB and bossanova…
And their dreams of adolescence, ready to return to redemption, are full of rock and psychedelia, songwriting and literature.
The SuRealistas are a real band, like those of days gone by. No leader: their symbol is not a pyramid but a circle, capable of enclosing more ideas, more voices and more colors.
“Life is the art of meeting,” said Vinícius de Morães: and from the meeting of so many dreams was born the dream of SuRealistas, populated with songs that are both original and rooted in the South American tradition.
After many European tours (including France, Belgium, Holland, Germany, Switzerland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Romania, Spain, Albania, Austria, Czech Republic, North Macedonia, and Hungary), four unreleased albums (“SuRealistas” in 2016, “Canta” in 2018, “Ritmo Animal” in 2020, and “La Vuelta” in 2024) and five video clips (“Canta,” “Vida mía,” “Perro Desobediente,” “Metegol,” and “Sacalo Afuera”), SuRealistas’ priorities are clear: Keep their eyes always open to the world and their feet always ready to dance.
This is the key to their realism, both magical and surreal, where “Sur” means not only South America but also global south and periphery, minority and diversity, a nature on the verge of collapse and a world that does not quite know where it is going.
Their concert is an ode to life, song and dance that you will hardly forget.
