“About Henry”
Cristiana Polegri & Roberto Spadoni ensemble feat. Stefano Fresi

Henry Mancini has composed some of the best-known and most beautiful soundtracks in film history, in a long career as a star studded with awards. Cristiana Polegri and Roberto Spadoni dedicate a special project to him, rereading some of his famous compositions, arranged by Spadoni for a colorful ten-piece jazz ensemble. Embellishing the evening was an extraordinary guest: actor Stefano Fresi to do the honors and narrate Mancini’s life and music with the orchestra. The project was soon released and distributed by the Parco della Musica record label (Rome Auditorium).

Kairos

Kairos, an ethno jazz music group that is the brainchild of Vincenzo Natale (accordionist) and Gerardo Pizza (saxophonist) , respectively the leaders of the group.
From the initial duo, the band later expanded in Siena jazz circles with the addition of guitar, electric bass and drums.
The musical idea is to fuse the folk sounds of the Campania region with the art of improvisation.
On May 29, 2022, their first album entitled “CELOSIA” was released, which they have already presented at several Italian jazz festivals.

We will have the pleasure of hearing them as the opening band of this third edition of the festival
